At Themurtikar every sculpture is handcrafted with utmost care and attention to detail. We completely understand that buying a handcrafted stone sculpture is a special decision and we want you to feel confident every step of the way. As many of our sculptures are made by hand and some are custom made our return policy is slightly different from that of mass produced products. We hope the information here helps you understand how returns and exchanges work.

Before your sculpture reaches you

Every sculpture is perfectly inspected before it leaves our workshop. We also use secure packaging to help ensure it reaches you safely and in amazing condition. If you have ever had any questions about a product before placing your order we are always here to help you.

Returns for readymade sculptures

If you have purchased a readymade sculpture and it arrives damaged during transit or you receive the wrong product please connect with us within 48 hours of delivery. To help us resolve the issue quickly we ask you to share your order number, clear photographs of the product and images of the packaging if it was damaged during delivery. Once we have reviewed all the details we work with you to arrange a suitable solution which might include a replacement or refund depending on the situation.

Custom made sculptures

Many of our sculptures are created exclusively for our customers based on specific designs and requirements. Because all these sculptures are made especially for you, custom orders cannot be returned or cancelled once production has begun unless the sculpture arrives damaged or there is an error on our part. We encourage you to review all the design details carefully before you confirm your order.

Natural variations

Every sculpture is handcrafted from natural stone. Because of this slight differences in colour or texture or even stone grain is completely natural. These variations are part of the natural beauty of handcrafted art and should not be considered defects or reasons of return. Note that sculptures will be exactly the same and that’s what makes every piece unique.

Refunds

If a refund is approved after reviewing your request it will be processed using the original payment method. The time it takes for the amount to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Non returnable items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange

• Custom-made sculptures
• Personalised or made-to-order products
• Sculptures that have been installed or altered after delivery
• Products damaged due to improper handling or misuse after delivery
